DESCRIPTION:Free wellness screenings are available for those 65+ at the Como Park campus of Lyngblomsten in Saint Paul. Sponsored by Lyngblomsten Community Services\, the Faith Community Nurse Network of the Greater Twin Cities is bringing 60-minute wellness appointments to metro residents on Thursday\, March 19\, between 9:30 AM and 2 PM. ASL interpreters will be present. \nSome of the things that your wellness screening could include are: \n\nHave the opportunity to learn about your body composition metrics\, screen for cognitive changes\, risk factors for dementia\, and depression on your terms\nSet individualized goals\nDevelop a whole-person wellness plan\nSpeak to a registered nurse about your overall wellness & barriers you face\nGet connected to resources in your community that can support your wellness goals\nInfluence programming in your community\n\nThis is not meant to replace a doctor’s visit; there is minimal overlap.
