Lifelong Learning & the Arts
Creative and enriching opportunities are a regular part of life for residents of Lyngblomsten’s Lino Lakes campus. Our Lifelong Learning & the Arts Department works with residents and staff to design art-based programming. This includes instruction in arts like painting, sculpture, writing, dance, theater, and music as well as nature-based programs, concerts by professional musicians, and outings to local museums, historical sites, theater productions, and other cultural events.
Multiple studies have shown that people feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally when engaged in creative activities. Lifelong Learning & the Arts helps create a community of learners and creators, providing them with enrichment throughout their time with Lyngblomsten and helping them integrate into the community.
