With high-quality care, personalized attention, engaging activities, and specially trained staff, residents maintain dignity, connection, and a sense of purpose.

Secured memory care is offered at the Lyngblomsten Care Center on the Stanford Neighborhood (a small grouping of resident rooms with a total of 22 beds), ensuring the safety of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias who are at risk of wandering and elopement or who could benefit from specialized programming.

Training for Staff on Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias

Lyngblomsten cares for many individuals who have Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and we conduct Alzheimer’s training for our staff upon hire and annually. Topics covered include understanding Alzheimer’s disease, problem solving with challenging behaviors, and communication skills.
