Living & Care Options—Como Park
Providing dignity, support, and choices.
The Lyngblomsten Care Center provides compassionate long-term care for those who need assistance with activities of daily living.
Residents live in one of 11 of neighborhoods, which are small groupings of resident rooms with a shared kitchen, dining, and living room. There is a specialized, secured neighborhood to ensure the safety of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias who are at risk of wandering and elopement or who could benefit from specialized programming.
Residents make as many of their own choices and decisions as possible, allowing us to honor personal preferences. Residents, caregivers, families, and volunteers grow strong ties through ongoing relationships.
Our caregivers, including chaplains, provide care for the body, mind, and spirit.
Each neighborhood offers peaceful settings with shared kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, and fireplaces.
Breakfast is made-to-order in the neighborhood kitchen. Other meals are provided by the care center’s main kitchen. Entrée choices and portion options are provided for each meal.
The smaller neighborhood-style setting allows residents, their families, and employees to become better acquainted and develop strong relationships.
Long-term care residents have access to all of Lyngblomsten’s campus amenities, including the chapel, cafe & gift shop, and courtyard.
Staff and volunteers organize a variety of engaging and meaningful activities for residents to enjoy. Some examples include:
Daily rates are based on level of care required and type of room requested (semi-private vs. private). For long-term care, we accept Medical Assistance, long-term care insurance plans, and private/personal funds.
Lyngblomsten Care Center accepts admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
