At the Lyngblomsten Care Center, we offer a range of care options, including long-term care, transitional care, and memory care, all designed to meet the unique needs of each resident with compassion and respect.

The Lyngblomsten Care Center is a 225-bed skilled nursing facility that includes long-term care and transitional care. The care center houses a chapel, café and gift shop, salon, and community room, as well as outdoor spaces to enjoy with family and friends.

Staff are trained in dementia care upon hire and then annually. Staff also receive training in providing care to persons with Parkinson’s disease thanks to our partnership with the Struthers Parkinson’s Care Network. Our palliative care program focuses on providing extra layers of support and intervention for residents experiencing serious illness.

Spiritual care plays an important role in restoring health and maintaining wellness. We have two chaplains on staff at the Como Park campus. They provide compassionate support for the living and dying and are available to respond in times of loss and crisis, as well as in times of personal joy and celebration. Support is offered to all, regardless of faith tradition or culture.

Our Culinary Services team takes pride in preparing delicious, made-from-scratch meals for our residents, responding to their feedback while also addressing any dietary needs. From apple strudel to sautéed zucchini, our residents have a variety of options to choose from every day! Breakfast is made-to-order in our neighborhood kitchens, and other meals are provided by the care center’s main kitchen.

Our central courtyard and main entrance courtyard are beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy nature, visit with family and friends, and participate in special activities.

Residents have access to a number of campus amenities and services, including the salon, Anna’s café & gifts, reserving the Community Room for family gatherings and parties, and purchasing postage stamps and cashing small checks at reception.
