SUMMARY:How & Why Talk Therapy Can Be Beneficial While Caregiving
DESCRIPTION:Talk therapy with a trained and licensed therapist can be a very beneficial addition to self-care when caregiving for someone living with dementia. It can be an outlet to share and work through emotions and challenges as well as build on skills and techniques while helping find some of the bright spots in your role as caregiving partner. Join us as we welcome Jennifer Finstad\, MSW\, LICSW of Healing Canvas Counseling to learn more about how talk therapy may benefit you and help break down some of the barriers in accessing this service and finding the right therapist for you. \nCost: No fee. Following the presentation all participants will receive a letter asking them to consider making a suggested contribution. \nRegistration: Registration is required by July 21.
