There's only one week left to sign up to attend Lyngblomsten's Older Adult Ministry Forum on Friday, March 10. This engaging and informative presentation will focus on how your faith community can become a dementia-friendly congregation.
Forum presenter is Carolyn Klaver, RN, Community Dementia Care Specialist for Lyngblomsten. She will:
- Discuss the basics of Alzheimer's and other dementias
- Provide tips for raising awareness about the disease
- Present ideas on how you can provide spiritual support to persons with dementia
- List things you can do to make your faith community more dementia friendly
What: Older Adult Ministry Forum: Becoming a Dementia-Friendly Congregation
When: Friday, March 10
Time: 10 AM–Noon
Where: Immanuel Lutheran Church (104 Snelling Avenue S., St. Paul)
Cost: $10 per person or $25 for a group of three or more people from the same congregation. If you are signing up as a group, please do so at one time.
Registration required by March 7.
