Lyngblomsten announces Weis Builders as construction manager for its senior living development in Lino Lakes
ST. PAUL, Minn. (September 21, 2021) — Lyngblomsten, a Minnesota nonprofit senior services organization, has selected Weis Builders of Minneapolis as construction manager for a senior living campus it is building in Lino Lakes. The new campus will be at the corner of Hodgson Road and County Road J.
“We’re sincerely excited about getting the project started,” said Chris Ehalt, Vice President at Weis Builders. “It’s been great to work with Lyngblomsten throughout the preconstruction and planning phase of the project, and so we’re eager to get in the ground.”
The first phase of the project will consist of constructing detached townhomes and a multi-level senior living building, which will include independent and assisted living apartments, memory care units, and a robust array of amenities. These amenities will include a restaurant and pub, wellness center with a warm water pool, theater, outdoor courtyards and walking trails, and more. A second phase will add a skilled nursing wing.
Weis Builders has extensive experience working on senior living developments, which appealed to Lyngblomsten as it chose a construction manager.
“Weis Builders’ background in senior living construction will be an invaluable asset as we embark on building a second campus—the first major project off our St. Paul campus in Lyngblomsten’s 115-year history,” said Lyngblomsten President & CEO Jeff Heinecke. “I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Weis, combining the expertise from both of our organizations as we move forward to serve older adults in the Lino Lakes area.”
Grand Real Estate Advisors and Wold Architects and Engineers round out the development team.
Groundbreaking is anticipated this fall. More information about the project is available at http://www.MyLinoLakesHome.com.
