About Lifelong Learning & the Arts

The Lifelong Learning & the Arts department provides crucial enrichment and community-building opportunities for the residents and participants of Lyngblomsten. Opportunities include instruction in arts like painting, sculpture, writing, dance, theater, and music as well as nature-based programs, concerts by professional musicians, and outings to local museums, historical sites, theater productions, and other cultural events.

Multiple studies have shown that people feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally when engaged in creative activities. Lifelong Learning & the Arts helps foster a community of learners and creators, providing them with enrichment throughout their time with Lyngblomsten and helping them integrate into the community.
