Caregiver Education: Long-Term Care Rights
Are you a family caregiver supporting an older adult who is considering a move to a long-term care setting or who is already living in one? Do you want a clearer understanding of the legal protections that residents have under Minnesota and federal law?
Join Lyngblomsten Community Services on March 4 for a caregiver education presentation on long-term care rights, featuring attorney Rachael Funk of Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services. You’ll learn about:
- The different types of long-term care settings; including assisted living and skilled nursing
- Resident rights in these settings
- Where you can turn for help when you have concerns
This presentation is designed to provide caregivers with the knowledge they need to advocate confidently for their loved ones.
Please share this with other caregivers who may be interested in joining us!
Cost: No fee. Following the presentation, all participants will receive a letter asking them to consider making a suggest donation.
Registration is required by Monday, March 2.
To Register: Contact Lyngblomsten Community Services at (651) 632-5320 or caregiving@lyngblomsten.org. Registrants will receive a confirmation email with instructions for logging into the presentation via Zoom.
