A resource group for parish nurses & faith community nurses
The Parish Nurse Ministry Resource Group is a resource and networking group for nurses serving in faith communities to connect for education and professional support. Our mission is to holistically bring together faith and health to educate, counsel, and help people of all ages within a faith community.
Lyngblomsten’s Parish Nurse Ministry began in 1994 and is an example of the innovation Lyngblomsten offers to the faith community by providing support for nurses and churches. At its peak, the program was established in more than 20 congregations. In 2012, the resource group model was adopted so that Lyngblomsten can assist more congregations.
