Memory Collective
An online enrichment class for adults living with memory loss
Offered through Lyngblomsten Community Services, the Memory Collective is an online enrichment class for adults experiencing memory loss or who are concerned about their memory; in particular, mild cognitive impairment or early skill challenges with memory, language, visual perception, or processing. As a participant, you’ll join a supportive community with others on a similar journey and, collectively, discover ways to keep living your best life possible.
For eight weeks, you will gather virtually with others for a 90-minute online Zoom session facilitated by Lyngblomsten staff. The facilitator looks for enjoyment and opportunities—based on healthy brain research—to create new pathways in the brain through new, positive learning (neuroplasticity and cognitive reserve).
Each session will feature a variety of educational topics and activities, as well as time for you and other participants to share your life experiences as you learn from one other and build a social group. Although this group can become very close, it is not a support group. If you're interested in support groups for those living with MCI or early stage memory loss, please contact Carolyn Klaver at (651) 414-5292 or cklaver@lyngblomsten.org.
While memory loss can be challenging, you don’t have to face it alone. Sign up for the Memory Collective today! Our team is ready to meet you where you’re at and help you navigate your journey.
