Lyngblomsten was voted "Best Long-Term Care Community " in the annual Readers' Choice Awards for Lillie Newspapers.
October 2017 ⎸Rose Dobrof Award
Lyngblomsten Community Services won the national Rose Dobrof Award from the Brookdale Foundation Group. The award recognizes organizations for excellence in dementia programming and supportive services. The award honored 2nd Half with Lyngblomsten’s The Gathering group respite program for people living with early- to mid-stage memory loss and their caregivers.
October 2017 ⎸Innovator of the Year – Bronze
Lyngblomsten won the Innovator of the Year Bronze Award in the 2017 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards competition for its web-based software tool, eMenuCHOICE®. The Innovator of the Year Award honors organizations that use technology to improve their overall quality of care and efficiency.
September 2017 ⎸FluSafe Facility
Lyngblomsten was recognized by the Minnesota Department of Health as a FluSafe Facility for the 2016–2017 influenza season. This designation shows Lyngblomsten’s commitment to protecting patient health by achieving greater than 90% flu vaccination rates among its employees. Lyngblomsten was the only nursing home in St. Paul to achieve this vaccination rate among its employees.
September 2017 ⎸50 for the Next 50 Award
Lyngblomsten President & CEO Jeff Heinecke was named a recipient of LeadingAge Minnesota’s 50 for the Next 50 award. The award honors leaders who pursue innovation and advance excellence in aging services, make forward-looking changes in their organization, serve as motivational leaders and mentors, and empower Minnesotans to age well and live fully.

Lyngblomsten was voted "Best Assisted Living for Seniors" in the annual Readers' Choice Awards for the Roseville Review.
June 2017 ⎸Service Enterprise Organization Certification
Lyngblomsten was certified as a Service Enterprise, a designation given to a small percentage of nonprofits nationwide for their exceptional volunteer programs. Lyngblomsten is the first senior care organization in Minnesota to become a Service Enterprise, and it is one of only nine certified organizations nationwide that are providing services to older adults.

Only one other nursing home in St. Paul achieved this.

Lyngblomsten received the 2015 Leading Change Innovation Award from LeadingAge Minnesota for its new web-based software tool, eMenuCHOICE™. The Innovation Awards recognize and showcase the very best innovative programs and ideas from older adult service providers with the intent of reimagining the aging experience.

Lyngblomsten received the 2013 Excellence in the Workplace Award from Aging Services of Minnesota. The Workplace Award honors an older adult services organization as an employer of choice for progressive practices that enhance employee satisfaction and retention, promoting careers in the field of senior services and investing in its employees.

May 2012 | Zero Deficiencies
The Minnesota Department of Health announced that they had found zero deficiencies during their annual inspection at Lyngblomsten Care Center. This is a rare achievement for any nursing home.
